VEPPEX
Venezolanos Perseguidos Políticos en el Exilio

(www.miscelaneasdecuba.net).- I have carefully read your letter
addressed to the American People published in The New York Times March,
17th, 20115 edition, and it is shocking how you can not only twist
Venezuela's current reality, but also the way you have managed your
Foreign Policy. You have been constantly attacking the United States
governed calling it a "genocidal empire", but now that you got a
well-deserved answer, due to your sneaky maneuvering with international
terrorism and drug, you become a pathetic victim.
Actions you forget, Nicolas Maduro, like your regime protecting and
supporting military and civilian officials involved in drug trafficking,
such as Diosdado Cabello, National Assembly President; and Tareck El
Aissami, Aragua State governor, both closely related to the "Cartel of
the Suns" (Cartel de los Soles) a hierarchical group, made up primarily
of military officials from the army, navy, military aviation and
National Guard, that essentially function as a drug trafficking
organization.

Either, you don't mention that the Organization of Defense Industries,
and Parchin Chemical Industries, both from Iran, operate under your
authorization in Moron city, in the central region of Venezuela,
developing joint military projects with Venezuela's military industry
(Compañía Anónima de Industrias Militares, CAVIM), located in Maracay
city, Aragua State.. These joint ventures have military personnel
stationed in Venezuela, and vice versa. You should know these industries
are under surveillance and sanctions by USA, and also under continuous
attention by International Atomic Energy Agency due to their development
of mass destruction weapons and uranium enrichment.

Why don't you express in your letter, that in Venezuela 90% of the media
is under your regime, and on the other hand, dissident journalists are
prosecuted and exiled or self-censored? Why don't you say that your
government abuse is so great that there are hundreds of illegally
imprisoned Venezuelans just because they wrote their opinions on Twitter
and many of them have been sent to common criminal jails with terrible
consequences? Why don't you say one of them (Rodolfo Gonzalez, 64),
committed suicide just last week, because he and some other students and
demonstrators imprisoned would be moved to maximum security prisons? He
promised them he would avoid that. Why don't you say these prisoners and
victims of political persecution are mainly members of civil society,
university students, civilian leaders and even city majors elected by
popular demand?

Why don't you say that through the Venezuelan Embassies you have issued
documents that could help terrorists infiltrate the USA? And also, why
haven't you pointed out that you use Venezuelan embassies to spy on the
USA? Why haven't you said anything about the increment of 135% of
Venezuelan immigrants in USA in the last 15 years to avoid violence and
corruption?

I see you paying with our nation's money a full page of New York Times
to expose a bunch of lies in a letter addressed to American People. Why
don't you say your government always tries to distract the world's
attention from your actions blaming the USA or other countries for what
you and your government are really causing to Venezuelan people freedom?
